Many worlds converge into the sound of The Swords of Fatima: Bollywood, belly dance, flamenco, punk, surf, garage, country, and dark psyche folk. Some say that they are the only band to play multiple genres in every song. Some call them Tibetan Spy Music. Some try to compare them to something more familiar like Siouxsie and the Banshees, X-Ray Spex, or Dick Dale. In other words, Quema will be a perfect fit.
Creative force behind Nomad, Damon Robinson brings the vibe. Damon got his first experiences with printmaking in his grandfather's (Joe Mugnaini) studio in Eagle Rock, CA. The surprises of analogue, and alchemic processes as well as the raw human elements were a profound inspiration for his work and his vision for the printmaking studio as a laboratory environment for co-creativity. Damon is an LA based artist, designer and founder of Praise the Lowered and NOMAD Los Angeles.
“An upbeat amalgamation described as “Retro-Pop” The Flusters arrived like intergalactic time-travelers wearing black suits, shiny shoes, and imbuing classic iconography.” - Coachella Magazine
Influenced by Roy Orbison, Dick Dale, The Beach Boys, The Pixies, The Smiths, Broadcast & Mazzy Star:
“The Flusters’ sound is modern pop with a throwback feel, which they describe as “dream surf,” owing to the vintage guitar tones, washy elements, and their inclination towards the gentle vocal delivery of romantic ballads.” - Buzzbands LA

Cody White And The Easy Ride – Sat./Frontierland stage 8:15 pm

Through an array of bands, both melancholy, and aggressive, he would build his influence. Along this journey, thanks to numerous collaborators, he has created a sound both unique, and familiar. Influences spanning wide from Gram Parsons, to Radiohead, bring this mix together.
Megan Hutch’s voice is a torch. She wields it with reckless abandon. She sings a furrowed brow, freshly painted toenails and broken down cars under endless stars. Electric or acoustic, accompanied or solo, she twists tunes out of time unpredictably and entirely unlikely. The world is full of people with guitars singing songs, she is her own world full of hilarious anguish.
Kevin Stetz was born and raised near Joshua Tree, CA. In 2005, on his 21st birthday, he released his first proper album, Songs for Oxygen, produced and engineered by local luminary Ted Quinn. Now he works on songs, plays loud electric guitar from time to time, and is writing a long form fiction piece in addition to kicking around some short stuff.
Annachristie has a soulful huskiness and power that could break glass. Her compelling songwriting style lends itself to an emotionally evocative experience for her listeners time and time again. As the lead vocalist and writer for Annachristie and The Sapphires, Annachristie explores new measures of Folk and Americana by marrying the genres with styles more grunge, dreamlike, and enduring- reminiscent to the rawness and unabashedness brought to light by many of our favorite music rebels of the 90’s. With this, Annachristie and The Sapphires create a sense of nostalgia even for those who might be hearing their music for the first time.
